Licensed Massage Therapist
Jessica Johnson, BA, NCTMB, LMT has been practicing massage therapy since graduating from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy in 2011. She works with the intention of helping damaged tissues heal, and also prevent damage from happening to keep her clients feeling their best and staying active in the way their lifestyles demand. Her clients include members of the Glendale Raptors Football Club, Denver Barbarians Rugby Club, USA Ironman competitors, Wonderbound Ballet members, and world class MMA fighters. Outside of the professional athlete realm, she has extensive experience working on those treating whiplash and post-surgical recovery. She describes herself as a “soft tissue corrective therapist”, using a combination of techniques - Active Release Technique (ART), myofascial release (MFR), trigger point therapy, and structural integration - to help release adhesions in the connective tissue that are causing pain and/or affecting mobility. Her 60-minute sessions are not full body, as she works very specially based on client needs that day. If you’re needing a lot of areas worked on, a longer session is advised.
